JOOST HOFMAN

This Dutch guy was a climbing instructor before he started climbing himself, somewhere in 2001. Lightweight and injury prone... Joost isn’t a born climbing talent. Oh yes... he sometimes manages to climb 7a routes and 7a boulders but he can only dream of some of the routes and boulders mentioned as favourites by the other Monkee friends.

Because of that (and not willing to train very hard) Joost started to focus on other things too. He often joins some of the best Dutch (competition)climbers on trips to shoot the ocassional amazing picture, brush boulders and give (unasked for) mental support. His website, or is it a weblog?, has a few loyal followers. Not because it is so up to date with news about hard ascents but because Joost posts things he likes.
